Thank You, From Anne

Dear Jean and everyone in the Drama Club,

Last week at this time I was about to walk downtown the Parish Hall for the AGM.

Little did I know what the evening would hold ! It really was the most magnificent evening ,and a wonderful way to round off my 58 years of drama in Riding Mill.

So thank you so much for the book, the very generous theatre token, which I will spend ten times over in my head before I actually go to anything !

And to Mike Smith, our new President, you certainly did me proud !

But, most importantly, to everyone who came...and those who wanted to come, but couldn't... Thank you, for being there and for your friendship over such a long time.

We have had such a good time together !

I hope I will see you soon either here or, at some time, back in the village.
