From Zoe Anderson
I wanted to let you know that our youth theatre end of term show is taking place tomorrow at the Fuse Media Centre in Prudhoe if any of you would like to attend? The tickets are free and there’s two performances at 2pm and 7pm. ( SAT 13th July)
We’re doing another completely improvised performance (eek!) and this time some of the older members are having a go at some long-form improv, so we’re really excited to see how it turns out.
You can book tickets for both performances here: sayitplayit.bpt.me
I would also really appreciate it if you could share the event with the rest of the Riding Mill Drama Club to see if they’re interested. For any of the younger members, we are also running a free improv workshop on 16:30 – 17:30 on the day. They can just show up on the day, or if they want to book a place they can do this online: improvwithmortalfools.bpt.me
The Unpacking – The Ashton Group’s Theatre Factory
We also have a touring company of young actors coming along to Riding Mill in a couple of weeks’ time from Barrow-in-Furness with their show ‘The Unpacking’. I think you might have come along to their show ‘How to Get a Baby’ last year? This year’s show sounds really interesting and is being performed in the round so something a bit different for the Parish Hall! I’ve attached the flyer to this email which has some more info.
The show is on Wednesday 24th July at 7:30pm and lasts about an hour. We’re hoping to have lots of young people along from the youth theatre but we’d LOVE to have some local Riding Mill residents there too. Again, if you could share this out with the drama club and anybody else you think might be interested we’d really appreciate it. Tickets can be reserved online: theunpacking.bpt.me
If you need any more info just give me a call or drop me an email.
